A little over a year ago, I started dreaming about creating a place where people could land comfortably during life’s transitions.

As a Realtor, I work with many clients who are relocating, building homes, or finding themselves between closings, and I’ve seen how difficult it can be to find quality, flexible housing during those in-between moments. That idea slowly grew into what is now Urban Retreat Properties.

I tend to be the one with the big ideas and vision… and thankfully Ryan is the one who knows how to actually build them.

What followed was months of renovation, planning, late nights, and more trips to the hardware store than we can count. Ryan, along with his dad Dave and some incredible help from family and friends, brought the craftsmanship and muscle to turn this vision into something real.

Our kids even jumped in to help along the way, making this truly a family project from start to finish.

Our goal with Urban Retreat is simple: create comfortable, thoughtfully designed furnished rentals for guests who need a place that feels like home—whether they’re relocating to the Quad Cities, traveling for work, between homes, or in need of temporary housing.

This is just the beginning for us. I’m excited to keep growing Urban Retreat Properties, building our portfolio, and expanding our guest offerings to serve relocating families, traveling professionals, and corporate housing needs throughout the Quad Cities.
