His paper, The Name We Sing: Evaluating Biblical Interpretations of the Name of Jesus in Baptist Hymnody and Modern Worship, explores how the name of Jesus is understood and expressed in Scripture, historic Baptist hymnals, and contemporary worship music.

What an incredible two days with the SBCMC Executive Board at Hunter Street Baptist Church in Birmingham!

We’ve spent these past two days praying, dreaming, planning, and preparing for what promises to be a fantastic conference coming up this April! We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve together and excited for all that God will do!

Our theme is “Rooted and Renewed.” Colossians 2:6–7 (NIV) reminds us: “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness..”

🌱 Rooted in Christ.
🌱 Built up in Him.
🌱 Strengthened in faith.
🌱 Overflowing with thankfulness.

Thank you, Hunter Street Baptist Church, for hosting us, and thank you to our SBCMC Executive Board for your faithfulness, hard work, and heart for this ministry. We look forward to April!
