I behaved myself and waited til it was done before peeking & it shows! (My collapsed loaf picture is in my stories)

I want to get in the habit of making bread weekly (or at least having it in the freezer to thaw as needed).

I’ve made 8 lbs of bread in the past 2 weeks…so far so good 😊

Sandwich Bread

1 1/4 c water
1 egg
1/4 c honey
1/4 c oil
4 c fresh milled hard wheat
1 heaping Tbsp dry active yeast
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sunflower lecithin (optional)
1-2 Tbsp vital wheat gluten (optional)

1. Place in the bread machine in the order listed. (I didn’t use the lecithin or wheat gluten)

This makes a 2 lb loaf.
