CONGRATS to the Champ Brady Overton for taking the cup this year.
It was definitely a wild weekend with the rain for the first 9 holes but Sundays sun made up for it. A perfect day for golf.
Next year, the weekend will start Aug 20th.
The Legend will be closed next year so we might have tee times at The Wilderness but it’s going to be very limited space going forward.
The Legend is getting a new sprinkler system, making bunkers smaller and also moving 2 greens.
While things in life happen, trying to scramble to fill tee times last minute is beginning to become trying. We got lucky that The Quarry let us cancel our extra tee time without being charged. We will be looking to clarify who is playing in the first week of August, locking in 12 slots with family members having priority. If more people want to play, just to play, you may have to make your own tee time.
We are moving to a more of a “fun golf” oriented weekend where people just have to bring yourself.
