Down by the trout stream at Sacred Stays, the fire pit might just be one of our favorite places to end the day.

The sound of rushing water, a warm fire, mountain air, and nowhere else you need to be. Whether you’re roasting marshmallows, sharing a drink, or just sitting back and listening to the stream — this is what a mountain getaway is supposed to feel like.

Thankful Thursday

There’s something special about a stay where everyone finds their favorite way to slow down.

For Jocelyn’s family, the kids were all about movie nights, games + the hot tub… while the adults found their happy place on the covered deck—listening to the creek, taking in the forest views, and lingering around the fire together.

And that’s exactly what we hoped Sacred Creek Retreat would be: a place where there’s plenty to do, but somehow, you leave having slowed down.
