Bluff, Utah has some of the darkest skies in the county – and we want to share them with you!
Join us Thursday, August 13 at 9pm at the Bluff Community Center to experience the stunning dark skies this region is known for. You can see the Milky Way with the naked eye, or find more details by looking through our telescopes. BEP staff will point out the celestial objects of the season.
Bluff was designated an International Dark Sky Community last year, and our Dark Sky Program brings telescopes and educational programming to communities across San Juan County.
Before the Star Party, join us at the Bears Ears Education Center for a presentation with George Rhee, professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
