The mission of the Hampton Hall Charitable Fund is to support the charitable interests and outreach efforts of the residents of Hampton Hall and to assist with needs within the larger community. What We Do:
The HHCF was established by a small group of Hampton Hall residents who wanted to ensure that volunteer and financial resources were available to help those in need inside and outside our comm

unity. This has enabled us to strengthen our level of philanthropic expertise by helping us with IRS reporting, providing board and governance learning opportunities, and other practical applications necessary to operate. With a community represented Board of Directors and the help of dozens of volunteers throughout Hampton Hall, the HHCF organizes a variety of events to raise funds for our grant program that are awarded to local charitable organizations that focus on the needs and challenges of children, families and individuals in Beaufort and Jasper counties. Over the past 12 years, we have awarded tens of thousands of dollars in grants to local nonprofit organizations including Bluffton Self Help, Second Helpings, Lowcountry Legal Volunteers, Born to Read, Family Promise, Meals on Wheels, and many others. In addition, the HHCF serves as a volunteer partner for Bluffton Self Help, collecting toys for children during the holidays, as well as liaising with neighborhood schools, holding an annual school supply drive to assist in giving local middle and elementary school students the opportunity to start the school year off right. HHCF also hosts an annual Par 3 Golf Tournament to support the work of Beaufort County Hospital’s Keyserling Cancer Center. With the strong support of our residents throughout our community, the HHCF continues to raise the bar on the work it does to make a difference in the lives of people in need in our area. Our Story

Hampton Hall Charitable Fund (HHCF) is a fund of The Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, a 501 (c)(3) organization. It began in March 2009 as Hampton Hall Community Foundation and was created by a small group of compassionate Hampton Hall Residents who wanted to ensure that volunteer and financial resources were available to assist our Hampton Hall neighbors in need, along with the community at large. In 2013, HHCF began a partnership with the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization who is the fiscal agent for the HHCF. This partnership allows HHCF to strengthen its level of expertise while providing us with administrative and investment services, IRS reporting, no cost online credit card giving capabilities, board and governance learning opportunities, and may other advantages. Although our community has grown exponentially over the past six years, our purpose has remained the same; to serve the residents of Hampton Hall in their outreach to charitable organizations and to assist those in need who are residents of the Greater Bluffton Area. HHCF has provided thousands of dollars of grants to organizations in the community, such as Neighborhood Outreach Connection, The Children’s Center, Lowcountry Legal Volunteers, Family Promise, Citizens Opposed to Domestic Violence, and Hilton Head-Bluffton Leadership Program to name a few. HHCF also serves as a volunteer partner with Bluffton Self Help, collecting toys for children at Christmas, providing volunteers for the annual USPS Stamp Out Hunger campaign, as well as providing volunteers for Special Olympics.
