The Washington Parish Free Fair begins with a parade highlighting our parish's creativity and talent. This year’s theme is “Stars, Stripes & Washington Parish Nights.” The parade is a fun and family-friendly way to start the largest free fair in the United States. The 2026 parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct 21st, 2026. Floats will be staged at Franklinton High School. All marching groups will stage at the Franklinton Farmer’s Market area and be directed to the parade in progress by a parade official. The parade will follow the prescribed route through town and end at the Washington Parish Fair Grounds.

We are just outside Lake Isabel farms gate, pick from our 7 cabins and our vintage Houseboat year round.

The Washington Parish Free Fair dates are October 21st thru the 25th. Looking for a place to stay we offer cabin rentals, RV hookups and primitive camping. We are located 20 minutes north of the fairgrounds. If interested call 6018766964 for information!!
