After a lot of thought, we’ve decided to officially shut down The Salty Driftwood.

We were truly blessed with how busy it stayed and with the incredible guests who chose our home. What started as an adventure became so much more than we ever imagined. As life has changed, we realized that managing a vacation rental is just more than we can take on right now.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who booked with us, shared our page, recommended us, and supported us along the way. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we’re so grateful for every memory.

If you’ve reached out to me in the past looking for a local vacation rental, I still have some wonderful friends with amazing properties that I’m always happy to recommend. In fact, I know one absolutely stunning rental that I haven’t shared before, and the owners are wonderful people. If you’re planning a trip, send me a message and I’d be happy to connect you.

We’ve officially decided to part ways with Evolve and begin hosting independently!

After careful thought, we realized that the growing fees being placed not only on owners but especially on our guests just didn’t sit right with us. We want your getaway to be as enjoyable and affordable as possible, so it was in everyone’s best interest to take this opportunity to manage our own bookings directly.

Unfortunately, Evolve does not release or transfer our multiple 5⭐ reviews that were left by our amazing guests.

We’d love your help spreading the word as we rebuild our listing and once again earn that Guest Favorite badge!
