Is your troop, or a troop you know attending the upcoming Camp Pigott 2019 summer session? Is anyone in that troop interested in learning more about the Pacific Northwest Native Traditions that the T'Kope Kwiskwis Ceremonies Program has been entrusted with?

If you answered 'yes' to both questions, you're in luck. This summer, members of the T'Kope Kwiskwis Ceremonies Program will be hosting Longhouse Tours and Storytelling Performances on Thursdays for those interested in learning more. We hope you can spread the word, and we look forward to seeing Scouts attend.

Ceremonialists,

Upcoming in March from the 16th - 18th is the Sikhs Mox Lamonti Ceremonies Retreat, to which Sikhs Mox Dance Team Leader Devin Childress has invited us! The event will be happening at Camp Fire Mountain, and it's a great time to get in touch with our northern brothers!

There is no cost involved. The event will be including classes about ceremonies, where we can both assist in the learning, and learn ourselves from those who see our beloved Ceremonies in a different light!

So please, come on down to Camp Fire Mountain on March 16th - 18th and see what's in store! I guarantee, it's going to be good!

Are you looking for a ride down to the Nisqually Ceremonies & Crafts Fellowship at Camp Thunderbird on February 23rd - 25th? Or maybe you can offer one yourself to any T'Kope Ceremonialists hunting for a way to go.

If either is the case, comment down below with the phrase "Searching!" if you're looking for a ride, and "Providing!" if you have spare seats to offer!

Ceremonialists!!!

Coming up in a couple of weeks is a Ceremonies & Crafts Fellowship being put on by our brothers down south in the Nisqually Lodge!

Just outside of Olympia, Camp Thunderbird will be hosting arrowmen from February 23rd - February 25th for the fellowship! With the cost of attendance only being $30, who could resist a weekend like this!?

We're hoping to see a big group of T'Kope members down there to show off, help out, and have fun. What better way to spend your day than by practicing and learning about Ceremonies with our brothers from the south?

We're hoping to seeing you all there!

If you have been an Ordeal member for at least 10 months, you are eligible to advance to the Brotherhood Honor. Talk to your Chapter Chief or Chapter Advisor for more information and for how to prepare.

Calling all Ceremonialists!

It's winter time and what is there to do but sit around and have the blues... Or so you thought!

That's all changing this upcoming weekend when we, the T'Kope Kwiskwis Lodge host our Tri-Lodge Ceremonies Training!

Come on down to the Camp Pigott Longhouse where you can practice song, dance, story telling, and Ceremonies with not only your brothers from T'Kope Kwiskwis, but your brothers from Sihks Mox Lamonti and Nisqually too!

We have a schedule planned to help Ceremonialists both new and old, and with lunch provided too, there's no way you can refuse!

So come on down to the Camp Pigott Longhouse on Saturday, February 10th, from 11 am - 5 pm for T'Kope's Tri-Lodge Ceremonies Training! We're hoping to see you all there!

Yours in Scouting,

We know it's been a while. With everything going on the page has been a little behind, but we're back and BOY, do we have a lot to cover!

Firstly, we'd like to thank the amazing Ceremonialists who took home honors medals from our 2017 Conclave at Camp Pigott! The T'Kope Lodge Team consisting of Talapus Tillicum Head, Philip S. (N), Sunyakwa Chapter Chief, Jacob H. Thornton (M), Lodge Inductions Vice Chief, Logan G. (K), and Lodge Chief, Reidar Kelstrup (AS) brought home honors alongside Kyler H., Rylan D., and Dylan R. from the Hyas Eena team (who also had Philip perform with them.) Further, we'd like to give a big round of applause to all the amazing Ceremonialists who performed in the opening and closing Potlatches of the 2017 Conclave. Your practice truly paid off with a stunning performance.

Secondly, we'd like to give a big hand to the September Ordeal Team, especially to Sunyakwa's Trenton Allison, who came back to give the team a hand. Without your commitment, we wouldn't have been able to host the Ordeal, and we can't thank you guys enough.

Further, we'd like to recognise the great work of Jacob and Reidar, who visited the Nisqually Lodge's Fall Fellowship this past weekend in order to assist Nisqually with Ceremonies training, as well as help the lodge with their Brotherhood Ceremony, which was short one Ceremonialist.

T'Kope Kwiskwis Ceremonies continues to make a wide-reaching impact across the Scouting world, and with opportunities over the horizon, we look forward to seeing what our amazing Ceremonialists make of it.

As the new Lodge year begins, we're here once more to report on the activities of T'Kope Kwiskwis Ceremonialists.

While the teams are gearing up for their first big performances of this fresh year at our September Ordeal and the T'Kope hosted Section W-1N Conclave, we do have a report on activities from over the summer.

This past summer up at Camp Pigott, former T'Kope Kwiskwis Inductions Vice Chief Jacob Thornton hosted Pacific Northwest Storytelling for the Summer Camp Program. This event, which was aided by Sunyakwa Ceremonialist Trent Allison, Tenas Chakchak Ceremonialist Matthew B., and former Hyas Eena Ceremonialist Nick Tillotson, introduced Scouts to Pacific Northwest culture through a combination of storytelling, singing, dance instruction/demonstration and a T'Kope Longhouse Tour.

The activity was largely successful, garnering positive reviews and requests that the activity continue to be hosted by T'Kope Kwiskwis Ceremonialists for future summers.

It is now the end of the season, and with it comes our last recognition of the year.

Firstly, we'd like to congratulate the several Ceremonialists who participated in this year's Spring Fellowship Potlatch. These guys worked hard all day in preparation for the Potlatch and pulled it off expertly! While our crowd was certainly smaller than year's past, it doesn't change the fact that the T'Kope Ceremonies Team worked to impress, and impress they did.

Secondly, we'd love to thank all the wonderful Ceremonialists who have worked so hard over the past year to make T'Kope Kwiskwis Ceremonies truly great. These past two years have been a tremendous recovery from the point that Ceremonies was at at the start of 2015. The program has gone from one full team and a lot of older guys aging out to a cohesive unit of many, great teams that have learned to adapt incredibly well. The new generation might be young, but they've worked so hard already, and have shown to be capable of pushing new boundaries. We're looking forward to seeing how these guys continue to grow in the coming years.

Lastly, we'd like to congratulate Logan Gleason on his new position of Inductions Vice Chief, and look forward to seeing the legacy he creates.
