Dear Rocket Ranch Outpost Ticket Holders and Guests,

The Flight Termination System is now in place at SpaceX's South Texas launch site. Signaling the completion the Fish & Wildlife report and an approval of the Federal Aviation Administration's license for SuperHeavy Flight Test 2 (Starship 25 & Booster 9). Additionally, a Notice to Mariners has been issued for the Hawaiian Islands, marking the official launch date for SPACE-X's STARSHIP SUPERHEAVY on November 15th (AM)!

If you haven't already, it's time to start making your travel arrangements right away.

Here's what you need to know:

Travel Light: Bring only what you need to survive.

Safety First: Remember to prioritize your safety at all times – this is, after all, a Ranch!

Arrival Time: You must arrive at Rocket Ranch Campground no later than 4 PM on November 14th.

Identification: Don't forget to bring your ID with you.

Waiver: Ensure that you've signed our waiver before your arrival.

Food for Patreon Members: For our Patreon members (

Limited Coolers: We'll have very few coolers available, so if you need storage for food, consider bringing your own. Some ShiftPods will be available for guests to share a place to rest.

Pack Light: While we'll do our best to accommodate your belongings, we recommend packing lightly.

Prepare for the Show: This all-night event will feature lasers, loud music, and an unforgettable rumble in the morning. Be sure to bring hearing protection (we'll have some available on launch day).

Staying Until the End: We'll be at the launch viewing complex until the flight's completion, with emergency boat service available for an additional charge.

Respect and Responsibility: Please be patient and courteous to your fellow ranchers and staff. Keep your consumption of intoxicants at a respectful level. Disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion, forfeiture of your ticket, and Ranch privileges.

Greetings, Rocket Ranchers!
The rumor mill is currently abuzz with discussions of a potential launch date of 9/8 for the Second Integrated Flight Test of the Starship SuperHeavy! Alongside the NOTMAR issued last week, targeting this very date, SpaceX has also successfully secured an FCC communications license set for 9/7.
Preparations of the vehicle are also suggesting readiness for launch, highlighted by the removal of lift pins from S25. This strategic move will effectively prevent any further static fires on the 2nd stage from the sub-orbital pads. Additionally, Booster 9's Flight Termination System has exhibited activity in tandem with the arrival of its detonation chemicals. Despite the absence of an official flight license and the absence of posted airspace closures (NOTAM) for Boca Chica Beach, it appears that SpaceX is displaying confidence in the potential to launch SuperHeavy as early as next week, pending the acquisition of an approved launch license.
Stay tuned for more updates. Anticipation is building for a wet dress rehearsal and full-stack display early next week. Should these events come to fruition, be prepared to make your way to Rocket Ranch immediately!

Rocket Ranch is hosting our first annual adventure race at Starbase Texas. This race will feature kayaking on the Rio Grande River, trail running with land navigation and biking. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to environmental cleanup of Boca Chica. September 30th, 2023
