It is with heavy heart we announce the passing of a legend and Laughlin Pioneer, Donald J. Laughlin, on 10/22/2023. He was 92 years young. Don touched many lives in our local community as well as nationwide, and we understand how difficult this news will be for many. Especially our Riverside Resort family. Don Laughlin was truly an amazing man to work with and learn from.
Matt and the Laughlin family have asked for some time to grieve and an official statement including memorial service will be made. Thank you in advance for all your sympathy and prayers.
Rest in Peace, Don. Your family loves you.

New Officer Federico made a sizeable drug bust this week. Police were dispatched to the area of Colorado Blvd & Rio Grande Rd for an unresponsive man in a car. Officer Federico quickly learned that the man – Jeffrey Allen Eicher, 32 – was OK, but appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. The officer noticed a baggie in his jeans pocket and discovered Eicher was in possession of about 1,000 Fentanyl laced blue pills that were separated in individual baggies packaged for sale, and a container with powdered Fentanyl. Another baggie containing about a half ounce of methamphetamine, more Fentanyl pills & paraphernalia were also located. Two guns were found in the vehicle.

Jeffrey Eicher was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs for sale, misconduct involving weapons and an outstanding misdemeanor failure to appear warrant. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.

Nice work Ofc. Federico - BHCPD and our MAGNET (Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team) detectives are committed to getting this dangerous stuff OFF OUR STREETS!
