It’s been a tough year due to the heat which slowed down the fishing.

WE WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO OUR FAITHFUL CUSTOMERS. It’s hard to survive as a MOM & POP BAIT SHOP but we still come up for air occasionally.

If you have it in your heart to shop the mom & pop vs corporate we would love to see you.

Mom & pop shops are becoming a thing of the past.

We want to thank all the participants this year that showed up for our annual jeep ride. We did have a BRAVE BRONCO that wasn’t afraid to be seen with us. lol

We had a great time on the 4th annual WOLF RIVER CRAWL yesterday.
Many ppl backed out due to the rain but we were still surprised by the turnout.

The day started out with a drizzle of rain then ended up being SUNNY and BEAUTIFUL with the all the leaves falling they looked like they were DANCING in the air. The Colors were starting to pop in the MOUNTAINS and we ate the biggest and best bologna sandwich at TAYS GROCERY Wilder, Tennessee

When then made it to the river and then on to Forbus General Store for some fudge then on to the mines. A few had broke off at this point. Our ride lasted around 6 hours with several stops and you know us JEEPERS, we like to talk. 2 jeeps made it to the top of the mine but only 3 tried it.

We done a different route this year and it was one of the best scenic routes we have done.

WE STILL GETTING CALL THIS MORNING and they are loving it, that the RIDE is still on.

Rain don’t bother us just makes for more MUD on the TIRES.

Jeep rides in the rain are a common part of off-road culture, with drivers often heading out to trails specifically when conditions are wet and muddy.

Rain can change the experience a lot.

We do have ponchos available at the campground
