Dear Daniels Resort “Family” – (*PLEASE SHARE*)

My husband, Matt Daniels, needs help. Matt has kidney disease (Polycystic kidney disease). Over time his disease has gotten worse causing his kidneys to fail. Matt is in need of a Kidney transplant.

Matt is on the national kidney transplant list, along with more than 100,000 other people who are currently on the waitlist for a kidney from a deceased donor. The current wait can be 5+ years. Receiving a kidney from a living donor is my hope and my prayer for my husband. A transplant from a living donor tends to last longer and function better.

You may have a lot of questions about donating a kidney, as it’s a big decision. Who is eligible?, The cost? The recovery? There is zero cost to the donor and a donor lives a very normal life after kidney donation.

Dear Guests,

The Daniels Family has served in the hospitality business for 46 years due to the loyalty of guests like you. We appreciate you for this. However our family business has struggled due to increasing operating costs & maintenance needs combined with a drop in hotel revenue. Therefore after careful consideration of our options, we have made the decision to close Daniels Family Resort.

The Resort is in an agreement of sale with a group of investors. The investors do not wish to operate a Resort, so we are currently in the process of canceling future guests’ reservations and refunding all deposit monies. We are not accepting any new reservations at this time.

This is the end of an Era for many of you, our employees, and us. We deeply appreciate your loyalty to our business. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your family memories over the decades. Like many of you, we cherish the friendships we have made throughout the years.
