Skyline Drive in CaΓ±on City, Colorado.
Skyline Drive is a narrow, one-way scenic road that runs along a razorback ridge just west of CaΓ±on City. Built in 1905 by prisoners from the nearby Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility, it is famous for its steep drop-offs on both sides and sweeping views of the Arkansas River Valley and surrounding Front Range foothills. The drive is especially dramatic at sunrise and sunset, when the limestone ridgeline glows and the landscape stretches out for miles below.
