What a treat to be the guest instead of the host this past weekend at thesylvanphilly 🥰
This magical houseboat is tucked into a marina just under the Ben Franklin bridge on the edge of Old City. In all the years I’ve spent in Philly, I never knew it could be like this!
I will post more, because I took a million photos .. but I couldn’t wait to share… for all of my guests who may be looking for another special trip… THIS❤️! GO!! I promise that you will be amazed!

My mum is 82.

Two years ago, she beat cancer.

A few days ago I watched her walk straight into the ocean like this, and I couldn’t stop watching her.

Joseph Hall was a contractor in West Cape May. In the late 1860s, he built this cottage — and instead of letting it pass quietly into the neighborhood, he put his name on it. Literally.
It’s a small detail most visitors walk right past. But once you see it, you can’t unsee it. This is a builder who knew exactly what he’d made.
This summer, for the first time, his cottage is available to rent.
