I have been really slacking as we camp this year.
Most of my reviews have been on my personal page instead of here. I’ll try to do better.
A question for you all..
What bigger item do you carry that could be left at home for shorter trips?
I’m sitting at a campsite by a creek that we have until Saturday. And I’ve realized there are several things we carry with us that don’t have to come on EVERY trip.
Case in point, the zero gravity chair I’m currently sitting in.
Yes, it is great for a weeklong stay. But it’s heavy, bulky, and if we are going to meet up with other people I probably won’t use it much.
Our Blackstone griddle. We’ve traveled with it for over a year and used it once.
Cooking on the Blackstone was always my hubby’s favorite and I feel a pang every time I even think about using it.
We have an electric griddle that works for just the two of us.
We will use it tonight (weather permitting) for breakfast for dinner.
The trikes are wonderful for a long stay, but very heavy to load and unload. Especially if they may not get used.
I carry 2 power stations. One 1000w and one 300w. The big one is the one I use most of the time to run a fan, or my bipap if there are power issues.
The smaller one is used mainly as a giant phone charger and may not go with us next trip.
