Beach Update:

We wanted to share an update regarding swim beach water testing for the upcoming season. We have recently been informed that the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy will not begin water testing until 5/18, with results expected to be available by 5/21. This is part of a statewide schedule change and is not specific to Bader Park.

In the meantime, our swim beach will remain open as “swim at your own risk” until official testing results are available. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we work within the state’s testing timeline.

Spring is starting to come alive at Bader Park! 🌿

The Platte River is currently full of migrating geese, creating an incredible wildlife viewing opportunity. If you’ve never experienced thousands of geese lifting off the river at once, it’s something you won’t forget. 🪶

With warmer days arriving, it’s also a great time to plan a spring camping trip. The park is waking up, the lakes are looking beautiful, and the wildlife activity is at its peak.

Whether you come out for a quiet walk, some birdwatching, or a weekend of camping, spring is one of the best times to visit Bader Park.
