🌹🕯️ SPECIAL EDITION: OSCAR WILDE & THE DARK SIDE OF THE SUPERNATURAL 👻

Oscar Wilde gave the world some of literature’s most unforgettable words, but beneath his celebrated wit and extraordinary imagination lay a fascination with something far darker.

Beauty that conceals corruption. A portrait that bears the terrible consequences of its owner’s choices. The unsettling possibility that something of ourselves might survive, or become trapped, beyond the ordinary boundaries of life.

Wilde understood that the most disturbing horrors aren’t always found in haunted castles or ghostly apparitions. Sometimes they hide behind beautiful faces, elegant rooms, and the secrets we refuse to confront.

For my Halloween Haunted Literature collection, we’re stepping into the Gothic imagination of Oscar Wilde, where beauty and terror become inseparable. 🖤

And what makes his literary world so fascinating is the way it blurs the boundaries between the supernatural and the human soul.

Was Wilde simply creating extraordinary fiction, or exploring questions about existence, identity, and the unseen that continue to haunt us today?

Join me for another atmospheric journey through literary history, Gothic mystery, and the supernatural.

But behind the famous detective stood a man who devoted much of his life to something far more mysterious: the possibility that the dead could communicate with the living. 👻

Doyle’s fascination with Spiritualism led him into a world of séances, mediums, extraordinary claims, and controversies that challenged the boundaries between belief and evidence.

For my Halloween Haunted Literature collection, we’re stepping beyond Baker Street to explore the supernatural convictions of the man who created literature’s most famous detective.

What happens when the creator of Sherlock Holmes becomes one of the spirit world’s most passionate defenders?

🕯️ SPECIAL EDITION: LORD BYRON & THE BLACK FRIAR OF NEWSTEAD ABBEY 👻

Some ghost stories are born around a fire. Others are passed down through generations, clinging to the walls of places that have witnessed centuries of history.

And then there’s the Black Friar of Newstead Abbey.

I’ve always been fascinated by the darker side of literary history, particularly when the lives of extraordinary writers become entangled with ghost stories of their own.

Lord Byron is remembered for his poetry, scandalous reputation, and larger-than-life personality. But his ancestral home, Newstead Abbey, carried a chilling legend: a mysterious hooded friar whose appearance was said to foretell misfortune.

What makes this story especially intriguing is the way the haunting became intertwined with Byron’s own life and the history of the abbey.

For this Halloween Special Edition of The Oracle of the Green Sight, we’re stepping inside the shadowy world of Newstead Abbey to explore the legend, the history, and the ghostly figure said to wander its halls.

Was the Black Friar a supernatural warning, an inherited family superstition, or something that refuses to be explained?

Come explore this wonderfully eerie chapter of haunted literary history with me. 🖤

👻 SPECIAL EDITION: THE GHOST OF EDGAR ALLAN POE: A STRANGER ON SULLIVAN’S ISLAND 🐦‍⬛

There’s something about visiting a place connected to a writer whose stories have haunted our imaginations for generations.

I’ve had the pleasure of spending time on Sullivan’s Island and visiting Poe’s Tavern, and there’s a particular atmosphere there that stays with you. Knowing that Edgar Allan Poe once walked those shores makes the island’s history all the more fascinating.

And after a special evening at the historic Strand Theatre, where I was completely captivated by the talent of the performers and the worlds they brought to life, I’ve been thinking even more about the power of storytelling and the way certain stories linger long after the final curtain.

For this Halloween Special Edition of The Oracle of the Green Sight, I’m taking you back to Sullivan’s Island, where Poe served as a young soldier under an assumed name and where stories of a mysterious figure resembling the famous writer have become part of the island’s ghostly lore.

We’ll explore the reported encounter, Poe’s real history at Fort Moultrie, and the legends that continue to surround his name.

Was it simply a stranger on the island, or something far more unusual?

Come wander the shores with me. 🌙

🔮👁️ CLAIRVOYANCE & THE PSYCHIC MIND: SEEING BEYOND THE SENSES — PART ONE

What if you could see somewhere you had never been?

Not imagine it.

Not dream about it because someone had described it to you.

But somehow perceive a distant place, a hidden object, or something completely beyond the reach of your physical eyes.

After Victorian psychical researchers began investigating telepathy, another unsettling question emerged.

What if there was no other mind sending the information at all?

In this next chapter of The Oracle of the Green Sight, we enter the strange history of clairvoyance and the attempts to understand what it might mean to see beyond the ordinary senses.

We follow one extraordinary case in which a woman believed she traveled across the Atlantic to her husband’s ship, while he dreamed of her presence and another man reportedly saw her.

We enter the early experiments with hidden information.

And then we reach one of the most enduring objects in paranormal history...

The crystal. 🔮

Was crystal gazing simply the mind producing vivid imagery?

Could forgotten memories rise unexpectedly into consciousness?

Or did some people occasionally see something they could not possibly have known?

The Victorians struggled with those questions.

And before long, clairvoyance would lead them somewhere stranger still.

Because seeing across distance was one thing.

Seeing across time was another. ⏳
