Snail mail is so understated. I think the reason why I was drawn to wedding stationery in the first place was because there was always something so special about receiving a card in the mail. Whether it was a personalized letter, a holiday card or an invitation, l’ve always found so much joy in receiving one.
Lately I’ve been playing around more with gold foil and have been loving it! ✨

January was a FULL month! With 3 letterpress save the dates and 2 full invitation suites going out. At this point my desk is very messy but my heart is very full with all of the love out there! ✨

It’s easy to say pajamas and warm blanket are a part of my daily wardrobe these days 😅 Do you remember last week when it was 50 and sunny? You’ll definitely find me curled up on the couch with a warm blanket during this rainy Oregon weather.

This color palette, the theme, the couple! My desk has been full of fun bright colors this month and it’s made me so happy. When Mollie came to me with her color palette and vision, I knew exactly what I wanted to design. A subtle main invitation with bright accenting cards and also, who doesn’t love a good tropical envelope liner moment?!

Popular 2021 trend: Bold wedding color palettes including 5-6 colors. We are not afraid of color over here! Our favorite way to add in a pop of color is to use a bright rsvp envelope or details card. It adds just the right amount of contract to a modern minimal invitation suite.

Recently I heard someone ask if anyone used their vow books to write memorable notes in after the wedding and throughout their marriage and I think that is such a sweet idea and a great way to document some of those important moments.

This weekend I took some time to work on a few personal projects and spend a little bit of time with myself. I am reminded that in times of anxiety, frustration and uncertainty it is okay to step away for a bit and reset. I’ve found that escaping to a beach or river with my fiancé and pup (I blame this part on being a Scorpio) or taking a day to work on some personal projects is the ideal way to reset myself and to start a week with a different perspective.

This one is for all of my blue lovers out there. If you’re looking for a timeless blue invitation suite, going for a monochromatic blue color palette is the way to go! We like to add a warm pop of color in there when we can to provide a surprising pop of contrast. 🍾

I will always be a big fan of an unplugged ceremony. When we started planning our own wedding, I knew this was going to be a must have at our wedding. From the start we’ve been very intentional with who we’ve invited and the vendors were using. We want our guest to enjoy themselves and share in this special moment with us!
