Association for the Physically Challenged We had a successful 20th Annual Golf Benefit Saturday, Sept 24, 2016! Thank you to all who participated. We so appreciate YOU!

Camp 2017: Saturday, June 24, 2017 through Friday, June 30, 2017. Save the date for the 21st : Saturday, September 23, 2017! The Association for the Physically Challenged, a local non-profit organization enhancing metro Detroit summer camps for children with muscular dystrophy, ages 5 – 17 years old, hosts one fundraising event annually. Our goal is to continue to provide funding for various activ

ities, events and supplies that help create the most memorable children’s summer camp session ever! Through the years, the APC has provided musical entertainment including the band "Hot Sauce"; snacks; beverages; decorations; a photo booth; Boogie Headz; and art supplies that are well utilized by the kids at their summer camp. Additionally, we’ve supplied Camp Cavell- the campground we utilize for MDA Summer Camp- with new mattresses to insure comfortable, healthy and restful sleep; new hot water heaters; and funds toward general campground maintenance. On the day-

Your contribution covers:

- 18 holes with golf cart;
- Hot dog, chips and fountain drink at the turn;
- Dinner;

- Raffle and silent auction

Do you ride? And wonder how the heck that relates to us? Fear not. This June 27th, 2017 (Tuesday), join one of the greatest riding groups as they roar up to MDA Summer Camp in Lexington, Michigan to visit and take our campers for the rides of their lives (around Cavell). Kickstands at A.M. Leather up at 9:00a.
As personal friends of those who run this ride, you won't be let down. Either meet on two wheels at A.M. Leather in Romulus, or meet up at Cavell. Typically $10 per rider, all proceeds go directly to OUR camp! Message Jana Newton if you have any questions.

MDA Camp friends never cease to amaze. Getting on Facebook today, within 10ish posts, two awesome Camp Friends posted how they couldn't wait for Camp, and how they wish June 24th would get here so they could see their littles!
