Troop 31 scouts planted 400 trees in Cohasset this morning. Thanks to everyone who made Christmas ornament donations to make this possible. A special thanks to Sierra Pacific Industries for your generous donation of trees. And to Seth Mitchell for doing the groundwork for our planting location.

Troop 31 did their annual Christmas shopping spree for Esplanade House on Sunday. We were able to donate $350.00 in toys for the kids at Esplanade House to unwrap Christmas morning.
The scouts love doing this every year.

Troop 31 will be at the Chico Christmas Preview tonight from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Stop by and say hello!
We will be selling handmade Christmas ornaments for a $10.00 donation. With each donation we will plant a tree in a local area affected by wildfire.
If you can't make it tonight you can go to the link below and donate. If you would like an ornament let us know through messenger and we'll find a way to get it to you.

This morning Troop 31 planted 470 saplings in Cohasset. The Cohasset area was devastated by the Park fire. Hopefully these trees will be a good start at reforesting the area. We hope this is one of many tree planting projects.
Thanks to Sierra Pacific Industries for donating the trees for this project. We couldn’t have done it without the trees.
Thank you Seth Mitchell for coordinating with landowners who wanted trees planted.
