We absolutely love the work we get to do each month, serving meals at City Gospel Mission !
This past month, we were blessed to have Camp Washington Chili donate delicious 3-ways, 4-ways, 5-ways, and coneys for the unhoused residents. What a gift!
One of the most rewarding parts of serving is getting to know the men and women we see month after month. They are there because they're working toward a better future—some are in recovery, some have been dealt incredibly difficult circumstances, some have lost everything in a fire, and others have faced challenges most of us can't imagine.
What we offer goes beyond a meal. We share love, compassion, kindness, and fellowship. We sit and eat with them, get to know their stories, pray with them, celebrate birthdays, and remind them that they matter. Every month, they tell us they count down the days until we come back, and that is something we never take for granted.
This past month, for the first time, we got to see the mission truly come full circle. One of the men we've come to know—a genuinely wonderful person—completed the program, moved into his own apartment, and is now giving back by serving alongside the team that helped him get there. Seeing that transformation firsthand was incredibly inspiring and a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. We have been collecting items to help get him what he needs!

We also take leftovers to other shelters and distribute blessing bags filled with essential items to those experiencing homelessness throughout Cincinnati. Taste of Grace Ministries has been serving our community for more than 15 years, and I was honored to step into the role of president this year. It's a remarkable ministry that continues to make a meaningful impact on so many lives.
Watching lives change, hope be restored, and seeing people come back to serve others after overcoming their own struggles is something truly special. It's amazing what can happen when people come together to serve with love, grace, and compassion.
