Nick and Colleen.

The 1st of a double hitter week and set the stage for an incredible Petals and Peace accomplishment.

In rewind~ this pallet gave me all the feels. Reminding Mr. Mike and I of our first born baby girl nursery.

When Colleen, (an undisclosed event planner-YIKES!) first reached out to me… she was slightly conflicted with pallet but quickly realized the combination of pastel yellow and pink was not very common, yet absolutely breathtaking.
Not to mention one of my favs (for obvious reason)

As this design and pallet came to life, it re enforced a magical yet elegant vision brought to life in a breathtaking space.

The venue campus left no page unturned and was the perfect backdrop for such elegance.

We wish you many many years of health, happiness and love.

Welcome to my Peace. Petals & Peace by• Mell Berks Florals & Events
is approaching our 3 yr. Anniversary and we are so grateful for all of the support and encouragement to keep going. We are humbled by the work that God has bestowed upon us and the life that has arose from standing in my truth. Many of you know me. A resigned ER Nurse, turned Wedding and Event Florist. As we enter our 3rd year in business, I cannot help but to reflect on so many blessing.
We have learned and grown so much and continue to expand. We are growing and blooming (as flowers do) 2027 is bringing on more clients, larger design packages and now planning and event Coordination.
If you know someone in need of honesty and transparency with attainable price points (the pillars of Petals & Peace) send em’ our way.

Sarah and Tyler were the MOST beachy chill couple we have ever worked with. Fun fact, there was minimal collaboration with the Bride.

When both the MOTB & MOTG initially reached out to me… I almost thought it was a fake!

“Who would ever let their Mom choose and coordinate all floral design phases and selections?” Was my immediate thought.

Then, I quickly realized that this isn’t any different than when I am hired as a wedding planner/coordinator.
But, I have to say~ I was still always questioning if I was getting it all right? And will the Bride be happy?

Fast forward to the big day and it all screamed success in all of their expectations for a sunset pallet on a sunset backdrop at the beach!

I must say… The walk into the unknown (how it all was going to be received) gave me the Willy’s!
But then I quickly recognized when I continue to hold the bar high in my nature, there will never be a fail!

This experience with the moms and Bride left me confident in my skill set and proud of this evolving gift in event floristry.

Lynn & Jesse
A couple of timeless elegance.
Another fellow Nurse that entrusted her most special day to the hands of another dedicated care giver…
And was not disappointed.

An Allignment in our Nursing profession drew this Bride in. But, communication and understanding of her hearts desire for this monumental moment was the clencher.

An immediate connection and report derived from our common place in Nursing, but more importantly we were able to level up on Lynn’s vision and budget immediately gave way to a seemless experience. This is always our goal out of every gait and with every client encounter.

We represent commitment , transparency, adaptability and passion in every phase of the process.

Much like Nursing ~ nothing gets left hanging while little securement knots are tied along the way.

We were able to take Lynn’s vision, make adjustments to match her budget and finalize a classic and simple design and picture of a winter in the mountains, complimented with just the right amount of color enhancements.

I am so honored to have serviced yet another clinician and be a small piece of their forever.

Christian and Sylvia
The couple that pushed my Anthology knowledge, understandong of Exotic and premium florals, color palette and design.

I am so grateful
For this opportunity to stretch my abilities.

A committed life long learner~ there is nothing I invite more from my clients but thinking outside the box.

When Sylvia selected P & P, I knew from her Nursing background that we would be a great fit! No matter what the requests.

She mentioned “wanting to go outside of her comfort zone/safe zone” with color and florals. She wanted to bring in edgy, moody yet elegant.

With complete intention on textures of florals and the deep pallet …
We nailed it!

I am so thankful to this couple for trusting the process of choosing art over comfort. It truly made a memorable statement for your most special day!

Alex and Sarah were an outward example of soft and gentle love.

Alex was such a sweet gentleman
And Sarah the ever mindful Bride.

Together they embarked on every detail of their day. Both were vested in securing every element of their special day.

P & P was blessed to be a huge part of this occasion.
We serviced the florals and with a quick flip of the switch provided Day of Coordiantiom services.

Let me tell you… this was no easy task. Especially, after learning that the Bride is a Corporate Event planner herself.

Truth be told- EVERYTHING went off without a hitch or a hiccup.
