CBRD SnoBiz is back!!!

We will be open Mondays-Saturdays, from 11:00-8:30.

We sincerely thank all of our loyal friends who helped support facility improvements for the kids of Bleckley County last year, and we look forward to being able to serve you again starting tomorrow.

Come out, grab your favorite flavor, cool off, and check out the new facility improvements in Phase II of our remodelling.

We look forward to seeing all the Bleckley County Royal fans tonight as they take on Marion County. SnoBiz will be there to help all the fans stay cool. Come out and support the team, the band, and CBRD.

Looking back on CBRD's successful hosting of the 2018 Dixie Youth 8U State Championship:

* Over 3,400 people from other counties came to Cochran/Bleckley County over a five day period to play in the tournament.

* Close to $7,000.00 was paid to LOCAL workers to be recycled into our community instead of sending those dollars elsewhere.

* Local gas stations, restaurants, and hotels were packed.

* Over 1,000 SnoBiz snow cones were sold.

* The parents of our local 8U players had ZERO travel and hotel costs, and they also benefited from playing on familiar fields.

* Discussions began with the Dixie State Director concerning the bidding process to host the 2020 Dixie World Series in Cochran. We will be working diligently towards making this a reality.

* And the cherry on top of all of these things? CBRD made a substantial amount of money that will be reinvested here in Cochran to provide OUR kids with better facilities and a better experience!

The CBRD staff and members of the board want to congratulate our 8U All-Stars. These young men faced an extremely tough opponent in Troup County this evening, and they came out on top 5-3!

These young men are only two wins away from having the opportunity of a lifetime in playing in the World Series in North Carolina!

If you are looking for something to do tomorrow, we surely would encourage you to come out to CBRD and cheer loud and proud as these young men take the next steps in a summer they will always remember. A sea of purple and gold would be awesome to see in the morning at 10:00!

Thanks to Nora Hayes and her hard working crew, CBRD SnoBiz has COMPLETELY sold out of all of our ice during the Dixie Youth 8U State Baseball tournament. We will be closed tomorrow to refreeze a new supply and for Nora to rest her feet...and we will look forward to serving all of our faithful clients again on Tuesday!

Take some time, slow down, and come see us today before our largest tournament of the year starts tomorrow. The SnoBiz trailer will be located beside the concession stand at CBRD until 7PM today. We can't wait to see you all!
