Between river runs, mountain views, and a Dutch oven feast by the fire 🔥, this weekend was everything we love about slowing down and getting outside. Hunter caught some chunky boys, Jett caught smiles with her fingerlings, the pups lived their best life, and adventure kitty “papas fritas” practiced catching bugs in the grass (look closely for the rainbow leash..shes hiding in the grass).

Here’s to family, furry friends, and fish tales — big and small. ❤️

🎉 It’s time to spotlight the last (but definitely not least!) Cromer kid—Jett! 🐾💛

Jett is 10 years young, full of sparkle, and the ultimate camping sidekick. She’s been camping since she was just 3 months old, so she’s no stranger to the Cromer Family Adventures. She loves crafting, baking sweet treats, and making friends with every animal she meets. Whether it’s helping whip up s’mores or building a nature fairy house, she brings creativity and joy wherever we go.

When we take the camper out, Jett takes her job very seriously… she’s our official “tree spotter” and makes sure we don’t clip a single branch backing into our site. Her bubbly energy and big heart keep our adventures fun, light, and full of laughs.

We can’t imagine a Cromer adventure without her! 💚

Ours? Hands down, campfire nachos! 😍

There’s just something magical about layering chips, cheese, beans, and all the fixings in a cast iron skillet and letting it bubble to perfection over the fire. Top it with fresh jalapeños, a dollop of sour cream, and a little salsa, and you’ve got yourself the ultimate campground comfort food.

Whether you’re keeping it classic or going all-out gourmet, campfire nachos are easy, shareable, and a total crowd-pleaser for our crew.

🎣 Family Feature Friday: Meet Hunter! 🎣

It’s that time… Happy Friday y’all! Our son Hunter is 18 and just graduated high school! Whew, how the time has flown! 🥲 From soccer fields in Germany to fishing streams around the world, this guy is always chasing his next big adventure.

Hunter has a serious passion for fly fishing… he even ties his own flies! One of our favorite memories? While checking into a tiny house in Croatia’s Plitvice National Park, Hunter casually asked the front desk if there were any good fishing spots. The receptionist lit up—her boyfriend was an avid fisherman too, and within minutes we were headed into the backwoods for an impromptu guided fishing trip! 🐟🇭🇷

Cool fact: Hunter played soccer for Vilseck High School in Germany, and his team made it to the championship in England! ⚽🌍 He’s traveled to 18 countries, but Croatia still holds the top spot in his heart. These days, Hunter helps out behind the scenes with our camper business; whether it’s prepping gear, loading up supplies, or scouting the perfect fire pit spot, he’s always pitching in with a smile. 🏕️🚐

Hunter’s always ready for the next adventure, and we can’t wait to see where life takes him next. 💙🎒

✨Family Feature Friday - Cromer Kids✨ Meet Sarah! She fis our oldest at 25 years young. She’s bold, brave, and full of heart. 💪🇺🇸 A few years ago, she made us proud by joining the Army and she’s been marching to the beat of her own drum ever since (let’s be honest, she’s ALWAYS marched to the beat of her own drum 😂 it runs in the family 😉).

Her favorite way to hit the road? As the ultimate passenger princess, soaking up the views with the windows down and snacks in hand. 🚗💨 All jokes aside, she played a crucial role while we traveled for a few months before moving to Germany in 2021. She was my right hand lady and we made a great team setting up, tearing down, and driving from state to state while pulling our 34 foot camper (Steven was deployed so it was just me and the kids!)

She’s also never met a dog/cat she didn’t instantly love 🐶🐱💕I think she prefers animals to humans most days and that’s just fine with us.

We’re so proud of the strong, hilarious, and animal-loving woman she’s become. Keep chasing those adventures Sarah!
