A sweet seated dinner party for my girl’s double digit birthday! Grayson wanted her favorite dinner served in the back yard with a printed menu and personal funfetti cakes for party guests, and she got what she wished for!

So grateful for the most precious invitation & menu cards courtesy of the amazingly talented and individual “10” funfetti cakes for party guests courtesy of my girl, Aleka, and who always creates a perfect ending!

I don’t post much here when it comes to florals, centerpieces, or interior design that are my own, primarily because it’s the planning aspect of entertaining that feels most natural, but these quick snapshots I took as I slipped out the back door from an event in this historic home turned law office from last week was a reminder of the impression that a thoughtfully-planned moment and space can have on others. It was a challenging and large scale renovation and design project, but hosting an event in this space for the first time was a reminder that the effort was well worth the result.✨✨

Cheers to 2024 and a chance to celebrate some special moments for my own people at year’s end. For anyone who has ever undertaken one, you know that celebrations are a lot of work - whether it’s paper plates and festive napkins for a dance party or fine china and a candlelit dinner on Christmas Eve; or whether it’s pampering in PJs for a birthday princess or a backyard floral arranging birthday party for a gaggle of sweet little girls, it takes effort and planning to make it all happen. But as Reverie takes on another year of celebrations, I like to think there is something about making people feel special and loved with a thoughtful celebration that is always, most certainly, worth it. Thank you to each of you who has encouraged and supported little ol’ Reverie all along the way. There is much excitement in what the future holds!✨✨
