Some homes are simply houses. Others become part of your story.

From the moment we found this beautiful waterfront in Coupeville on Whidbey Island it captured our hearts. Every detail we added, every improvement we made, and every memory created here was done with love and the hope that this home would continue to bring joy for generations.
Now, life has taken us in another direction, and we are looking for someone new to love this special place as much as we have.
This is a home where seasons are celebrated.
Wake up to deer wandering across the lawn. Watch storms roll dramatically across the water in fall and winter. Listen to spring rain tapping against the windows. Spend summer afternoons watching whales travel by and sailboats glide through the lagoon. Enjoy the wild beauty of autumn, when the island transforms into something almost magical.
Coupeville is more than a town — it is a feeling.
It is Sunday mornings at the bakery, storytelling at the King Fisher bookstore, followed by a little shopping at Warf dog paddle and pantry or the crows nest! It's afternoons filled with art, creativity, and community, and lets not forget a beer at Toby's! It is exploring enchanted forests and hidden trails, discovering lavender fields stretching toward the horizon, enjoying local restaurants and patios with your dogs, and finding the kind of peaceful moments that make you forget to check the clock.
Whidbey Island has a special kind of magic — the same magic that made it the perfect setting for Practical Magic the movie. It is found in quiet walks, friendly neighbors, unexpected adventures, and evenings where you realize you never want to leave.
And now, this magical place can be yours.
A Home Designed for Waterfront Living and Income Potential
This thoughtfully designed three-story waterfront home offers flexibility rarely found.
The lower level was created as a private owner’s retreat, complete with:
Waterfront views
large oversize King Bedroom
Large Living area
Bathroom with shower
Laundry and storage
Separate entry
The upper two floors provide a wonderful opportunity for guests or vacation rental income while allowing the owner to enjoy privacy below.
We successfully operated the home as a vacation rental at approximately $550 per night, creating excellent income potential. When guests are gone, the entire home becomes your private waterfront escape again.
Imagine:
Morning coffee overlooking the water
Kayaking directly from your own beach
Family gatherings with grandchildren walking the shore
Watching whales and storms from the patio
Quiet evenings surrounded by nature
Dogs enjoying the island lifestyle alongside you
The property offers:
✨ Medium-bank waterfront with easy beach access
✨ Private beach access for kayaking and exploring
✨ Heating and air conditioning throughout
✨ Peaceful neighborhood setting
✨ Approximately five minutes to charming downtown Coupeville
✨ Close to trails, parks, beaches, festivals, and island adventures
You can walk into Coupeville for a Sunday treat at the Red Hen Bakery, explore nearby trails, visit local farms, discover hidden gems like the Earth Sanctuary in Freeland, or spend the day exploring everything Whidbey Island has to offer.
From the underground whiskey bunkers of Langley to farm-to-table dining, festivals, parades, lavender fields, and countless island discoveries — there is always something waiting.
This home has been a sanctuary, an adventure, a retreat, and a place where time slows down.
It is bittersweet for us to say goodbye.
But we know the right person is out there — someone who will open the windows to the ocean breeze, watch the seasons change over the water, create family memories, and fall in love with Whidbey Island just as we did.
Come experience the magic.
