The Trinidad was Magellan's flagship for the first circumnavigation of the globe, a groundbreaking 3-year voyage that ultimately led to Europe's discovery of a western route to the East Indies. Step back in time and tour a piece of sailing history! A full-scale replica of Ferdinand Magellan's flagship, the Nao Trinidad, will be docked at Somers Cove Marina from November 9th to 19th. This recreation of the famous Portuguese explorer's vessel was launched in 2018 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Magellan's expedition around the world from 1519-1522.

This is an amazing opportunity to immerse yourself in an important piece of maritime history. Don't miss your chance to tour the Trinidad before she sets sail again on November 19th!
