🍽️ Cafe Sol at Solterra Resort – quick, easy & delicious!

One of the best things about staying here? You don’t even need to leave the resort for great food 🙌

We ordered from Cafe Sol online and within 10 minutes our food arrived… delivered straight to the villa by golf cart! 🚗💨

I went for the grilled chicken wrap with sweet potato fries – fresh, tasty and perfect for a chilled poolside lunch ☀️

One of the best things about staying at Solterra Palms is how perfectly placed you are to dip into other parts of Florida – and Miami is an absolute must for a short trip.
Whether you fancy a day trip or an overnight stay, here are your options:

✈️ By Plane (Fastest option)
From Orlando International (around 30 mins from the villa), you can hop on a short flight to Miami.
• Flight time: approx 1 hour
• Total travel time (door to door): around 3 hours
Perfect if you want to maximise your time soaking up South Beach vibes 🍹

🚆 By Brightline Train (The relaxed luxury option)
The Brightline train now departs directly from Orlando International Airport (MCO), making it super easy to access from Solterra Palms.
• Journey time: approx 3–3.5 hours
• Comfortable seating, WiFi, food & drinks onboard
• No airport hassle – just arrive 15–20 mins before departure
A great option if you want to sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.

🚗 By Car (Flexible & scenic)
Fancy a road trip? Driving gives you total freedom to explore along the way.
• Distance: approx 235–236 miles
• Drive time: around 3.5–4 hours (traffic dependent)
You can even stop at places like West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale en route.

Leave early in the morning to avoid traffic and make the most of your day – Miami is all about beach clubs, shopping, and incredible food.

One of the things our guests love most about Solterra Palms villa is its perfect position – we’re south-west facing, which means you can enjoy the sunshine from morning right through to those stunning Florida sunsets 🌅
This photo was taken at 9am, and as you can see, the sun is already pouring in across the pool deck – perfect for early morning coffee or a peaceful start to the day.
We also back onto beautiful conservation land and a large pond, so instead of being overlooked, you get:
