This Wellness Weekend on Miracle Hill, licensed massage therapists Jeff & Judy Bowman are bringing a fun, hands-on experience to the weekend:

Learning the Art of Head & Foot Massage 👣

This interactive workshop is all about the simple power of touch. Jeff and Judy will teach practical techniques for giving a soothing head and foot massage designed to help release tension, encourage relaxation, and leave someone feeling refreshed and cared for—from head to toe.

And this isn’t just a demonstration—you’ll get to learn, practice, and experience the techniques yourself. Bring your partner or a friend and make this one of the classes you experience together!

Jeff and Judy have deep roots in the Desert Hot Springs wellness community. After opening Living Waters Spa in 2003, they welcomed more than 13,000 guests to experience the area’s incredible hot mineral waters and their European-style spa experience before selling the property in 2019. Today, they remain active in Desert Hot Springs and continue offering massage through their local Airbnb.

🌿 Their workshop is another example of what makes Wellness Weekend different: three days of back-to-back classes, hands-on workshops, expert speakers, yoga and movement, sound experiences, medical and holistic wellness, and opportunities to experience the mineral waters of Spa City.

This Wellness Weekend on Miracle Hill, we’re bringing that experience to life with Don Corrieri, founder of The Sound Spa, who will be offering multiple immersive sound therapy experiences throughout the three-day weekend.

Don is a certified sound therapist and vibroacoustic therapy practitioner, as well as a longtime music producer and audio engineer. His sessions combine instruments including crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, tuning forks, and immersive soundscapes to create experiences designed around deep relaxation, connection, and restoration.

This Wellness Weekend on Miracle Hill, we’re excited to welcome Emily Sprauer — High Desert Mermaid, a sound healer and licensed esthetician with more than 17 years of experience in holistic beauty and wellness.

Deeply influenced by her years living and working in Joshua Tree and Sedona, Emily’s practice is rooted in connection to place, beauty, and restorative experience. Her sound journeys feature a remarkable collection of one-of-a-kind, handmade gongs created by her mother, Kat Lyons of High Desert Gongs, bringing the resonance and spirit of the high desert into each experience.

Through intentional listening and the immersive vibrations of the gongs, Emily creates space for deep rest, reflection, presence, and renewal—an invitation to quiet the outside world and experience sound in an entirely different way.

This Wellness Weekend on Miracle Hill, we’re excited to welcome Brenda Campos of I Am of Light and Earth and Betty Saavedra, The Sound Fairy, as part of our growing lineup of featured practitioners.

🌿 Brenda Campos is a Peruvian-born Andean shamanic practitioner, Altomesayoq graduate, mesa carrier, sound healing practitioner, and teacher apprentice within the Andean tradition. Her work invites guests to explore ancestral wisdom, energetic connection, sound, and practices rooted in a deep relationship with the natural world.

✨ Betty Saavedra — The Sound Fairy is an author, sound healer, energy worker, and ancestral guide. Through sound and vibrational practices, Betty creates experiences centered around stillness, connection, reflection, and the restorative power of intentional sound.

Their participation represents another side of what makes Wellness Weekend so special. Alongside physicians, health experts, movement practitioners, and educators, we’re creating space for ancient traditions, sound, mindfulness, and holistic practices—bringing many different perspectives on wellness together across Miracle Hill.
