We’re dropping the details for the Million Chip Challenge Poker Tournament, a charity event benefiting the Red River Human Services Foundation. Your chip castles are about to be so massive they’ll need their own zip code. 🏰💰
Here is everything you need to know so you don't miss out:
🕒 THE TIMELINE (DON'T BE LATE)
Saturday, Oct 3rd (Day 1):
11:30 AM: Registration opens! (Show up early, stretch your chip-shuffling fingers, scope out the competition).
12:00 PM (Noon): Shuffle up and deal. We are playing a grueling, glorious 20 levels. Bring snacks. Bring stamina.
Sunday, Oct 4th (Day 2):
12:00 PM (Noon): The survivors return!
1:00 PM: Late registration officially closes. Yes, you can literally roll out of bed on Sunday and register directly into Day 2. We won't judge your bedhead.
📍 THE LAIR
Where: Ramada by Wyndham (3333 13th Ave S, Fargo, ND)
The Buy-In: $300
The Format: PURE FREEZEOUT. No re-entries. No second chances. No "let me check my wallet real quick." When your million chips are gone, you’re officially a spectator. Make 'em count!
📈 THE DEEP STACK STRUCTURE
We are giving you so much play, you'll feel like a World Series main eventer:
Starting Stack: 1,000,000 chips. (Seriously, start practicing your tower-building skills now).
Levels: 30-minute blinds. Plenty of room to bluff, trap, or completely misread a hand in style.
Day 2 Restart: Cards are back in the air at 10k/20k blinds.

Our benefit for Steve is quickly approaching. Only about three weeks away. We are still finalizing items and plans but it is all coming together. Here is some info on what is going on at the Elks. Elks will have most if not all raffle items the week leading up to Sept 19 benefit. You will be able to go in that week of if you can't make the benefit and purchase raffle tickets to put in the buckets of your choosing. The day of benefit we will then move buckets and items to harwood community center for people at the Poker tournament to purchase raffle tickets and put them in the buckets of their choosing. Drawings will begin at 8pm. Need not be present to win.
