New selections for yukata have now been updated! We have several new items for women's yukata and one men's yukata available for rent. Children's yukata will be uploaded soon!

Rental rates:

$25 for single adult yukata
$10 for child yukata

♡ An additional $5 off one yukata will be given when renting more than one yukata set.

Each yukata set comes with the yukata, two himo ties, and an obi. Geta sandals are not included. We have geta sandals available for purchase at https://kimonoharvest.com/collections/zori-sandals

We now offer two sets for three-year-old girls for the Shichi-Go-San celebration. While one set includes the more common hifu vest, the other set is paired with a lovely emerald green obi sash.

In Japan, November 15 is Shichi-Go-San day, where three and seven-year-old girls and three and five-year-old boys dress up in kimono and visit the shrines or temples to offer prayers and take commemorative photos with family. This day is a rite of passage to celebrate the health and growth of children.

Welcome to Lucky Cat Kimono! We offer kimono dressing for special occasions and kimono dressing experiences, operating out of Elk Grove, CA. We believe knowing what you are wearing and where it comes from is an important part of the experience, so during the dressing we will chat about these topics to further deepen your appreciation and understanding of Japanese culture.

We currently offer kimono and yukata rental for the following occasions:

成人式 Coming-of-Age Ceremony
卒業式 Graduation Ceremony
サクラメント着物倶楽部とのお出かけ/お茶会/祭り Outings/Tea Ceremonies/Festivals with Sacramento Kimono Club (must be a member)

Please send an inquiry via email if you are interested in renting a furisode set for your upcoming Coming-of-Age ceremony or graduation ceremony. Professional photography is currently not included. If you have booked a photographer, our kimono dresser will travel with you to the photography venue after dressing you.

For any other occasions not listed above, or if you wish to book a kimono dressing experience, please send an inquiry via email and we will respond within 24 hours. Please note that currently we do not have kimono available for weddings/結婚式, or men’s kimono/男性の着物.We hope to in the future!
