Steve has been heavily involved in running a well-known fly-fishing lodge in Alaska for over 24 years now. In 1990, Steve began his career at Bristol Bay Lodge as a guide, where his passion for the outdoors and experience in fly fishing was very well received by guests and fellow staff alike. It didn't take long for Steve's hard-working mentality to propel him into a managerial role at Bristol Bay

Lodge working under BBL's original owners, Ron and Maggie McMillan. For over 22 years, Steve has made a name for himself as a lodge Owner/G.M. accomplished angler, passionate outdoorsman, and more recently-an amazing photographer. Through his company-Fisheye Design, Steve brings something very unique to the fly fishing industry and the artistic world in general. Bottled up behind a "tough-guy" outer shell and "do anything to get the job done" attitude, Steve displays a unique eye for photography and a style unmatched in modern photo-art. Fisheye Design is a multi-media company specializing in bringing a fresh look to the fly fishing industry through creative art, photography, web design and writing.
