What a great Memorial Day weekend.🇺🇸

We were happy to host Dave and his family, who enjoyed some extra family time together. We also had our friends Kelly and Chris visiting from Indiana.

The weekend was filled with fishing, a relaxing dock day, and plenty of great memories. One of the highlights was an amazing fish fry featuring shark bites caught on a deep-sea fishing trip earlier in the week by Chris and Kelly and they were absolutely delicious!

We wrapped up Memorial Day grilling on the dock with family, enjoying good food, great company, and giving thanks to those who have served our country.

Trading the snow for some Lake Eustis sunshine!

We had an absolute blast on the water with Bob and Tammy all the way from Wisconsin. The weather was perfect, the company was even better, and the fish were biting! It was a pleasure showing you the best of the Harris Chain. Thanks for a great day on the boat!

🍎 Recess on the Lake: Teachers, Travelers, and Thanks! ☀️

School’s out forever, and the lake life is officially in session! 🎓

It’s been another wonderful week of stories and sunshine here at the Harris Chain Adventures House. We have some truly inspiring guests to shout out today:
The Missouri Trio: A huge welcome to Barbara, Dana, and their friend visiting us from MO! These ladies are all retired teachers and, let us tell you, they are truly "living their best life." We are honored to be a stop on their well-deserved adventure. Ladies, thanks for all the years you dedicated to the classroom—now it’s time to relax on the dock! 📚🍹
The Maine Connection: We also want to welcome Brian and his wife, who traveled all the way from Maine to find some Florida warmth. We’re doing our best to make sure the Lake Eustis breeze is a little softer than that Atlantic wind! 🦞☀️
From the "Fisherman’s Dream" to the "Intimate Retreat," we love seeing our guests connect over breakfast and sunset views. Thank you all for choosing HCA House as your home away from home!

If you could retire anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would your "best life" take you? Tell us in the comments! 👇

🧸 Treasures, Trophies, and Tuesday Thanks! 🎣

From antique toys to slab crappies, there’s never a dull moment at the HCA House!

We’ve had a fantastic week hosting a mix of old friends and new adventurers here on the Harris Chain Adventures House.
The Return of the Thompsons: It’s always a treat to welcome back The Thompsons! They’ve stayed with us several times now, and we love hearing about their latest finds. If you're heading to Renninger’s Flea Market & Antique Center, keep an eye out for them—they sell the coolest antique toys in the area! 🚂🧸
Michigan in the House: We also loved hosting Doug, who traveled down from Michigan to trade the snow for some Florida sunshine. ☀️❄️
The Big Catch: Doug didn't just come for the weather; he and his buddy Curtis hit the water with Capt. Dave for some serious crappie fishing. Let’s just say the fish fry was legendary! 🐟🍽️
Whether you’re hunting for vintage collectibles or hunting for "slabs" on the lake, the Harris Chain Adventures House is your ultimate home base.

Are you a "collector" or a "competitor"? Do you prefer hunting for antiques or hunting for the big catch? Let us know in the comments! 👇

🎂 Birthdays, Bass, and Best Friends at HCA House! 🎣
Whether it’s your 4th year or your 1st birthday celebration here, the lake life just hits different.
It has been an absolute joy-filled week at the Harris Chain Adventures House!
The Tradition: A massive shout-out to Glen and Claudette. They’ve been part of the HCA family for 4 years now, and having them back feels like the true start of the season. From sunrise breakfasts and successful fishing sets to that legendary Friday night fun in the Baitshop, it wouldn’t be the same without you two!
The Surprise: We also had the honor of playing "birthday co-conspirators"! Sheryl reached out to give her best friend Beverley a birthday to remember. We had the Intimate Retreat room fully decorated and ready for the big day. Happy Birthday, Beverley! 🎈✨
At the HCA House, we don't just provide a room; we provide the backdrop for your favorite memories. Whether you're reeling in a trophy bass or blowing out birthday candles, we’re here to make it special.
