School’s out forever, and the lake life is officially in session! 🎓

It’s been another wonderful week of stories and sunshine here at the Harris Chain Adventures House. We have some truly inspiring guests to shout out today:
​The Missouri Trio: A huge welcome to Barbara, Dana, and their friend visiting us from MO! These ladies are all retired teachers and, let us tell you, they are truly "living their best life." We are honored to be a stop on their well-deserved adventure. Ladies, thanks for all the years you dedicated to the classroom—now it’s time to relax on the dock! 📚🍹
​The Maine Connection: We also want to welcome Brian and his wife, who traveled all the way from Maine to find some Florida warmth. We’re doing our best to make sure the Lake Eustis breeze is a little softer than that Atlantic wind! 🦞☀️

We’ve had a fantastic week hosting a mix of old friends and new adventurers here on the Harris Chain Adventures House.
​The Return of the Thompsons: It’s always a treat to welcome back The Thompsons! They’ve stayed with us several times now, and we love hearing about their latest finds. If you're heading to Renninger’s Flea Market & Antique Center, keep an eye out for them—they sell the coolest antique toys in the area! 🚂🧸
​Michigan in the House: We also loved hosting Doug, who traveled down from Michigan to trade the snow for some Florida sunshine. ☀️❄️
​The Big Catch: Doug didn't just come for the weather; he and his buddy Curtis hit the water with Capt. Dave for some serious crappie fishing. Let’s just say the fish fry was legendary! 🐟🍽️

🎂 Birthdays, Bass, and Best Friends at HCA House! 🎣
Whether it’s your 4th year or your 1st birthday celebration here, the lake life just hits different.
It has been an absolute joy-filled week at the Harris Chain Adventures House!
​The Tradition: A massive shout-out to Glen and Claudette. They’ve been part of the HCA family for 4 years now, and having them back feels like the true start of the season. From sunrise breakfasts and successful fishing sets to that legendary Friday night fun in the Baitshop, it wouldn’t be the same without you two!
​The Surprise: We also had the honor of playing "birthday co-conspirators"! Sheryl reached out to give her best friend Beverley a birthday to remember. We had the Intimate Retreat room fully decorated and ready for the big day. Happy Birthday, Beverley! 🎈✨

It’s been an incredible week here at the Harris Chain Adventures House. We have so much to be thankful for!
​First, a massive shout-out to Jeryn and his Navy buddies! They are staying with us while on leave from Virginia. It is a true honor to provide a relaxing lakeside retreat for these sailors while they take some well-deserved time off. Thank you for your service! ⚓️🇺🇸
​We also want to give another big "Welcome Back" to Eli, who joined us for another work week! Whether you’re here for a mission or a job, we love being the place where you can kick back on the dock at the end of the day.
​From military leave to the Monday-to-Friday grind, the Harris Chain of Lakes is the perfect backdrop for it all.
