Last night my guests discovered a kitten. It is very tiny, maybe six weeks old. Very hungry. Gonna check-in with the vet later today. My two are not thrilled, but hopefully they will adjust. Does three make me a cat lady? #

We are planning some fun next weekend. Hosting a graduation lunch bunch from Longwood. I cannot wait to help them celebrate. We will have tents and tables and serve buffet style. A little charcuterie, salads and fruit with lemon blueberry pound cake. A few balloons, some curly ribbon, tablecloths and graduation paper goods. Please remember the retreat is available for small events with a one week notice. We also have the fire pit out back for adult beverages with charcuterie, cheese and crackers. Plentiful parking.

We don’t often have guests who request supper, but when we do, Katie bar the door!! My guests were following a gluten free diet so I found this recipe on Delish. Tuscan Butter Salmon. So good and easy to make. Threw a few mushrooms in there as well and served it over cauliflower rice. They were delighted!!

Just added. A coffee bar complete with Keurig, electric kettle and Expresso maker. Open 24/7 at The Retreat! I am sure there will be additions and subtractions as we change things up a tad.

What time is it? It is Wine Time in Farmville Virginia!! Hang on to your hats people!! The Town of Farmville is open and work is underway to hold our Annual Farmville Wine Festival. We have missed our supporters! Two long years!! Come join us April 16, 2022. We will have a beachin’ good time as The Castaways join us once again with their unique sound. All proceeds go to support Meals on Wheels of Prince Edward County
