Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my life. I had to watch my best friend, my neighbor and brother pass away and there was nothing I could do about it. I've been constantly beating myself in the head wondering if there was anything that I could have done differently, or if I could have gotten there sooner, or did a better job of CPR, or even said anything when I talked to him the day prior that could have facilitated a different outcome. We love you my dear brother but God loves you best. Rest on my worthy brother. The Grand Architect of the Universe needed his Master of the Craft to do greater works in heaven. It's not a day that goes by that I won't think of you and remember all the good times we had together. Not a day will go by that I won't miss you brother. Fort Gillem #601 will never be the same but we must go on. You would have wanted it that way! We will take care of your family my brother and we will take care of the works that you started. Rest In peace Past Master Michael D. Shelton! We Love you brother!
