April of 2023 Dequan Johnson started his Fragrance journey as a commission based kiosk perfume salesman in Park Mall of Arlington within three years he now has done over 2000 pop-ups inside of Supreme Beauty and other Dfw businesses and flea markets. Only with resilience and brilliance was he able to make it to a point where he could secure his first storefront. With help from close family and friends he was able to independently convert an old salon into his first store. And he named it Build-A-Scent Fragrance lounge. He has been able to Employee over 50 people throughout his community within this timeframe and has been able to reach over 30,000 customers within that three years and directly connected with over 20,000 himself and helped them find their own personal Unique smell. And generated over $500,000 in sales independently! He now does personal Fragrance consultation in development and specializes in helping people find and create something that they will wear everyday. Mistakes sure. Friendships lost sure. But one pattern he has continued to display is resilience. Now he is in the process of converting from only in person sales and connection to creating distribution points for the fragrances that the community has reacted to so well. No billionaire big brother. No formal business training No college degree and very little support from those around him outside of his customers and close friends. So this is not a display. This is a symbol of resilience. This Fragrance vibe display concept will almost act as a standalone Fragrance sales person.
