One year ago, Emmy & Aaron said “I do” surrounded by color, joy, and the sweetest little details that were so perfectly them 🦋

Emmy came to me with a design vision of watercolor, wavy lines, wildflowers, and butterflies…and then gave me the greatest gift a designer can receive—complete trust! From her color palette to the tablescape to the coziest lounge moments, every detail was thoughtfully dreamed up and brought to life just for them.

We tucked butterflies into every corner we could, and I had the honor of hand-painting each watercolor piece—from her welcome sign to her bar sign to the most vibrant table numbers.

But that seating chart… truly a work of art, and one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever created 🤍

Happy first anniversary, you two. What a joy to celebrate sweet friends. Here’s to many more years of blessings! ✨

After a year of learning, stretching, and continuing to grow my business, I’m stepping into this new year with so much hope and excitement. Especially because the day I’ve been dreaming of for my sister is finally on the horizon!

Her invitation suite was created entirely by hand, with deep intention and love. Emerald green envelopes with soft blush roses, ivory linen paper with gold edging, a custom hand-drawn crest, vellum wraps, velvet ribbon, wax seals, and gold calligraphy—the details and textures are stunning! Every piece thoughtfully crafted to reflect the timeless, romantic feeling she wants for her wedding.

Carly & Connor’s wedding day marked the perfect start to the fall wedding season — and one that will always hold a special place in my heart 🍂✨
Their day was brimming with warmth, color, and so much joy. I had the honor of designing their entire vision—from the color palette to the florals—and weaving in little touches that reflected who they are.

Colorful candles, vintage mismatched plates, and stacks of old books filled the tables in honor of their love for reading. And beneath a cathedral of trees in her parents’ backyard, Carly and Connor exchanged their vows.
Being part of this day—for a family I hold so dear—was truly an honor I won’t forget! ✨

Today’s weather is giving FALL 🍂

My first wedding of the fall season is this weekend, and as I prep, I’m looking back at one of my favorite custom invitation suites from a past autumn wedding.

This suite was full of personal touches: hand-painted details of the Oakbourne Mansion, as well as the stone cottage and dawn redwood trees from their ceremony site at Newlin Grist Mill. Tiny illustrations of the season’s foods added a whimsical, cozy touch, and the back of each invitation featured a handwritten note sharing the couple’s love story.

Creating custom invitations and watercolor paintings like this is one of my favorite ways to bring a couple’s vision to life — transforming memories, moments, and details into something keepsake-worthy that they will treasure long after the day. ✨
