Bishop transport specialist, Alvin delivered a fresh load of red cinder traction sand to Parkdale last Friday. When winter shows up, this sand will help keep drivers safe and on the road (not in the ditch!).

Bishop Red Rock’s proud to help set the scene for the 2025 Goldendale Demolition Derby — rolling into town TOMORROW, July 4th!

Get ready for:
🚗 Big cars, compacts & trucks crashing their way to $9,000 in prize money and hometown glory
🛻 Pickup Truck Tug O’ War – bring your ego, your rig, and a tow strap (or duct tape... no judgment)
🃏 Poker Run starts at 9AM
🌮 Good food, cold drinks, local vendors, and a raffle worth a standing ovation
⛺ Dry camping – $30/night, first come, first served

🎟 Admission:
Adults 14+: $20
Seniors, Vets & Kids 7–13: $10
Little buckaroos 6 & under: FREE

👷‍♂️ Drivers & Crew – Check in starts bright and early at 7AM. Tech & Time Trials at 11:30.

Come on out and raise a little dust with us—we’ll be there, smelling like freedom, diesel and elbow grease.

Meet Kara, our four-legged honorary HR coordinator here at the Bishop Red Rock quarry! She's rocking her custom safety vest and keeping a close eye on operations. Today, she’s helping Duffy, our plant manager, review employment resumes for a bulldozer operator— and she has high standards! 🧐🐾

We had a great time at the Candy Cane Lane Parade and after-festivities this past Saturday night at The Lodge in Goldendale. Many thanks to the Brighter Goldendale Christmas committee and the many volunteers involved in making it the best! Enjoy these snapshots with our compliments!
