Ready to freeze for a good cause and make some epic winter memories? Goosebump Jump is almost here, Granbury! ❄️ ⛄️

Goosebump Jump is happening Saturday, January 17 at City Beach Park, and it is your chance to kick off winter with a splash, literally. 💦

Online registration has closed, but you can still sign up by filling out a form at Visit Granbury anytime this week, or by registering onsite the morning of the event.

The first 200 registered jumpers will receive an official “I Survived the Goosebump Jump” medal, so arrive early and don’t miss out.

Jump into Lake Granbury, warm up with hot drinks, enjoy the festive crowd, and celebrate one of Granbury’s most fun and fearless traditions. Whether you are jumping, cheering, or just soaking up the energy, this is one winter event you do not want to miss!

Treetop Getaway – Granbury | A Perfect Romantic Escape

Treetop Getaway is truly a romantic retreat in every sense of the word. The upstairs room features a breathtaking 180+ degree view of the lake, creating an unforgettable backdrop for peaceful mornings and intimate moments together. Watching the sunrise over the water from this vantage point is something we won’t soon forget.

Each morning, the sunrise was accompanied by a delicious, thoughtfully prepared breakfast, always delivered right on time—exactly what you want from a bed-and-breakfast experience. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to fully relax and slow down. We’ve stayed in both rooms, and each one offers the same sense of warmth, comfort, and privacy.

The space was immaculately clean and well equipped with coffee, a microwave, and a refrigerator—small details that made the stay feel effortless. The location is also ideal: just about two miles from downtown Granbury, close enough for dinner, shows, and strolling the square, yet far enough to feel secluded and peaceful.

Sue, the host, is wonderful—welcoming, attentive, and deeply connected to the Granbury community. She’s an excellent resource for local dining, events, and hidden gems, which made planning our days easy and enjoyable.

And as a charming extra, Sue’s sweet little toy poodle, Essie, added an extra smile to our stay—absolutely adorable.

If you’re looking for a place to unplug, reconnect, and enjoy time together, Treetop Getaway delivers in every way. We would highly recommend it for couples and look forward to returning ourselves.
