Who camped over the 4th?? Where did you go?
We spent it on the water of Lake Kegonsa near Lake Kegonsa State Park in Wisconsin. The fireworks were great 🎇
Plan a visit for 🛶🚴‍♀️🥾🏊‍♀️
Make your way down to Springers on the lake for Friday night fish fry!
There’s also all that Madison has to offer just 20min away!
-Farmers Market at the capital building
-variety of restaurants
-Mad-City Ski Team shows

I’ve shared another post on the campground, but here are the parks to visit while you’re there! These alone are worth the trip!

Horse shoe shaped zip line with swing seat (see my reels, this was so fun!)
Tons of slides
Playgrounds for both bigs and littles
Extra long teeter totter for sitting or standing

Really big splash park for a small fee

Make a trip to Illinois Beach State Park and enjoy it all!
There are a variety of sites-wooded, open and grassy, or paved for the really big rigs.
Take a walk along Lake Michigan or relax at the beach.
If you’re a thrill seeker, visit Six Flags for coasters and Hurricane Harbor for waterslides less than 30 minutes away!
Prefer a slower pace? Enjoy ice cream and a walk around the marina at Dockside Ice Cream and Deli nearby. If you’re lucky, you may catch live music while you’re there.
Visit Six Flags for awesome coasters.
This is a close to home must do park for us. We like to stay multiple times each summer and in the shoulder seasons too!
