HAMMOND, IN - Mary C. Hobbs, age 60 of Hammond, IN passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Mary is survived by her siblings: Johnny (Jackie) Hobbs, Jodeen "Jo Jo" (late Tom) Jensen and Charles Hobbs, Jr.; nieces and nephews: Samantha Hobbs, Janet Hobbs, Christina (Tom) Sleeper, Justin (Natasha) Hobbs and Dylan Hobbs; great nieces and nephews: Jayden Hobbs, Tyler Vega, Nathan Sleeper and Elizabeth Sleeper; aunt, Skeeter Ridinger. Mary was preceded in passing by her parents: Charles and Johanna Hobbs; and her sister, Frankie Hobbs.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at LaHAYNE FUNERAL HOME, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN at 10:00 a.m. with Father Stanley Dominik officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mary was born on November 20, 1960 in Hammond, IN where she resided her whole life. After graduating from Hammond Tech, she worked for Southern Electric where she retired. Mary was a 40-year member of the Women of the Moose Lodge Chapter 120, Hammond. She enjoyed playing pool and her Friday nights playing BINGO at Isaac Walton. Every summer she would look forward to her camping trips with Justin ever since he was a child. In her free time she would never pass up a chance to spend time with Jayden. She was very proud of her earned title "TT".

It is with deep sympathy and sorrow that I announce the passing of Pilgrim Morman Floyd. " Floyd" passed peacefully last night. He was a very active member of our Lodge , most recently serving as Treasurer. He was never reluctant to help out at any of our charity events most importantly the " Senior Citizen's Thanksgiving Dinner" . He was very active in Veteran Affairs for the Lodge also.

I will always remember and cherish the times I spent talking with you and listening to the stories you had of your adventures. I especially enjoyed the passion you showed for the St. Louis Cardinals. With any luck, they will bring home the pennant this year in your honor. Rest In Peace Floyd.

As soon as funeral arrangements become available we will post them on this page. In your evening prayers tonight, please say a few words in honor of Morman Floyd and his family.
