Welcome to our page ♥️
My name is Kimberly Pait, my Grandmother, Jenny Lou Faile Pait of Hartsville, SC, left me with one of her most prized possessions, her home. I made a promise to her before she went to be with the Lord in August of 2019, that I would always take care of her home. I plan to keep that promise to her as I know the love she had for her home and the memories she made in her home and in her yard planting flowers and leaving her legacy. I spent many years with her in this home as well as my father, Clayton Pait growing up there from a child to adulthood.
My Grandfather, Horace Winston Pait of Bladenboro, NC, passed 9 months before I was born in May of 1993, but I was always told he was a man of a few words and that he would have loved me dearly.
Through the power of love and respect my Fiancé Aaron Stone and I have been working on their home for over a year now. I needed some time to process before I could even start completely going through every belonging, renovating, replacing, redoing everything. We have made much success with the process all while still leaving my Grandmother’s touch throughout their home.
We are excited to break the news. We are honored to continue to fill their home with life again and to spend some much needed time relaxing there with our girls and me telling them stories of the times my grandmother and I spent together.
We’ve decided since we will be spending some time there as well, we will only be doing short term rentals at The Winston Lou. This will allow us to enjoy it along with allowing guests to enjoy their stay in Hartsville, SC. Guests will be welcomed to nightly, weekly and monthly stays.
This is the very short version of the story of The Winston Lou, a place I will always hold close to my heart ♥️ Thank you for the kind words from everyone who knows what we’ve went through all this time trying to make this dream a reality ♥️ Follow along with us as we continue this journey
