SIMPLE CHECKOUT
• Log out of Apple TV/ Roku and any apps you logged into
• Rinse dirty dishes and start the dishwasher
• Do not make the beds.
• All dirty towels can remain on the bathroom floors. This will let the cleaning team know which ones to wash.
• Throw away any unused food.
• Take out final trash from all rooms to outside garbage / recycling cans.
• Set thermostat to…(WARM WEATHER: 60 COOL WEATHER: 70)
• Turn off all inside lights.
• Please put the garage door remote on the kitchen counter and use the front door to exit.
• Don’t forget to lock it behind you.

BED FIRMNESS / SOFTNESS
This is our home that we rent out during certain times of the year so some things
were set up as we like it. I realize not everyone will feel the same way so we have
tried to set up options and information to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

• Middle bedroom mattress is very firm. We have put a cushion topper on
top of it so it’s softer.
• If it is too soft please feel free to remove the topper, roll it up and store it in the master bedroom closet.
• Or if the topper is currently not on the mattress feel free to take off the mattress sheet and the mattress protector and put the mattress cushion on top of the bed.
• Please replace the mattress protector and mattress sheet afterwards.

Cameras
We have 3 outdoor cameras. One above the garage, one in the front doorbell and
one in the backyard. When unoccupied the backyard camera is active. It will be
inactive when occupied. Please tilt the camera upwards towards the sky For additional privacy as well. If you could please tilted back to leave that would be appreciated.

WATER SOFTNER 💧
In Nevada the water is full of hard minerals. That makes the water taste poor, erodes appliances, makes it feel like soap is not coming off you in the shower as well as leaves water stains on dishes and silverware.

We have a water softener machine that uses salt to trap the minerals and makes the water much more pleasant. It does require refilling with salt appx once a month or more (depending on water usage.) If you are staying longer than 5 weeks our property owner may contact you to coordinate a day and time to come and refill/reset the water softener salt if needed.

POOL 🌊
• Please be sure to rinse off/shower prior to going into the pool.
• Please wipe up any excess water on indoor floors to prevent water damage.
• Every Monday the pool maintenance co will come and clean the pool. They typically
come prior to noon. They have a code for gate access and let themselves into the
back yard to do their work.
• Please do not enter the gated area with the pool pump and controls. If you are having issues w/ the pool please contact me via AirBnB and I will be happy to assist.
• There is a Pool Sentry that will start to fill the pool if the water level is too low.
It is set up to run automatically but if you notice any issues with it please let me
know right away.
• If you have children please use the pool alarm as a safety measure. See Pool
Guard Quick Start posted on back door for instructions.

GARBAGE / RECYCLING
• Weekly pick up is Monday morning.
Please put out garbage and recycling cans the night before.
• There can be some fierce winds from time to time so please put cans back next to the side of the house after the garbage has been picked up.

TV 📺 Turn TV On
• Use Vizio remote red power button or top button on right side of TV.

Surround Sound System
• Please don’t turn it off. It needs to be on to watch the Apple TV or Roku.
• Volume can be controlled via the Apple TV remote or the large circle dial on the sound
system in the TV cabinet.
• Please do not turn up the volume past 70. It’s pretty loud at 70. 😊

Streaming
• You have two options…Apple TV or Roku…
Apple TV (Switch to Apple TV on receiver in TV cabinet)

Apple TV
• Login with your Apple ID, login to which apps you want to use and start streaming.
Roku (Switch to Roku on receiver in TV cabinet)

Roku
• Roku has a guest mode option.
• Push any button on the Roku remote to start.
• Enter your checkout date/time and Roku will automatically sign you out of all your apps and reset itself.

LOCKS 🔐

LIGHTS / TEMP CONTROL 💡
• Please turn off all lights when not at home and well as set the thermostat to 60.

Temperature Control
• There is a Nest thermostat in the hallway. • • Feel free to adjust to your comfort level however do not set the temp below 60 or above 85 in the cooler months.
• Please also do not set the temp below 70 in the warm months.

Living Room Lights
• Light controls for the living room are on the remote velcro’d to the short wall
between the garage door and kitchen.
• The bottom 3 buttons control the light.
• This remote is also used for the ceiling fan.

Master Bedroom
• Additional light controls / ceiling fan control on remote velcro’d under light

SIMPLE HOUSE RULES
• Registered guests only
Only registered guests on the booking may stay overnight. If you need to add a
guest that wasn’t originally on the booking please contact me via AirBNB.

• Please no shoes in house
I know everyone may not be used to this but Henderson (and Nevada in general) is
a very dusty place. The house will get dirty quickly. Also the dust on the floor will
make your feet very dry and possibly start cracking.

• No smoking, va**ng, incense or candles.
• No parties or events.
• NO PETS.
• No illegal activities.
• There will be two cleanings…one mid-stay and the second after check out. Please send me a day/time that works best for you.

WELCOME! ☀️ 🌴 🏠
Thank you so much for choosing to stay at our home. We hope you have a relaxing
time, enjoy the sun and if the weather is warm, the pool as well.

This house is very conveniently located next to stores and many great local restaurants.
The strip is 30 minutes away but please be sure to check out the other things
close by Nevada has to offer…Lake Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Water Street in
Henderson, the list goes on and on!

During the holidays there are many Christmas events going on in and around Henderson. Be sure to google Henderson Christmas Activities to see the list.

I know reading a bunch of stuff when you’re trying to relax is not fun but this page will
help you enjoy your stay and provide answers to questions you might have. My goal
is to ensure you have a wonderful time in our AirBnB so if you have any questions
