Out here, away from city glow, the whole sky opens up. Trees turn to silhouettes, campsites go quiet, and the stars finally get to be the main event.

The first cool morning of the season has a sound to it. Pine needles settling, coffee brewing, the Everglades waking up around you.

Long Pine Key Campground reopens November 1 for the 2026–2027 season, and this year we’re bringing back a few small comforts. Stop by for grab-and-go coffee, snacks, drinks and a handful of souvenirs to remember your stay.

The sky does something different out here every single morning. Some mornings the whole park just wakes up in color and lets the sky do the talking. Florida Bay at sunrise, 34 miles into the backcountry.
