While we wait for the final construction details to wrap up, we thought we’d share a little about what’s in the name — Minnekahta. 🌿

Minnekahta means “warm water” in Lakota, a name that feels especially meaningful for a place created around rest, restoration, and the healing experience of the Southern Black Hills.

Our bungalows are located on Minnekahta Avenue, so when it came time to choose a name, Minnekahta felt like the perfect fit — honoring the land, our location, and the peaceful experience we hope every guest takes home with them.

We’re getting closer, and we can’t wait to welcome you. 💚
