As part of our key flagship module, Cultivating Global Citizenship Through Education (CGCE), we are proud to launch a complete, free online video series dedicated to guiding students through their Elementary and Intermediate Drawing Grade Examinations.

This educational series is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative brought to you by Dorf Ketal Chemicals India Ltd. and thoughtfully conceptualized and executed in association with the Earthian Art Foundation to bring high-quality art education directly into every student's home.

A Birthday Celebrated with Gratitude, Not Worship.

We are truly humbled to share this beautiful moment. Our rural communities across Maharashtra came together on their own to celebrate the birthday of Shri. Subodh Menon Ji, Founder & Vice Chairman, Dorf Ketal Chemicals India Ltd.

For Sir, it has always been about people and the planet. This spirit lives in every CSR initiative we do. Through Dorf Ketal Jungle and Mango Cup, nearly 300 villages have joined hands to make our planet greener and our people more prosperous.

In his message, Sir expressed deep gratitude to all our people and children who give their time and energy for a sustainable tomorrow. His words were simple and powerful:

"Let us have gratitude for one another but not worship. Worship stops questioning and critical thinking."

Sir reminded us that the best way to celebrate life is by giving back to Mother Earth. Plant trees. Reduce carbon footprints. Celebrate birthdays by growing life.

There’s no greater joy than watching the trees you planted grow and give back to every living being. This year too, with 100% community participation, we have planted trees in lakhs, and we will nurture every single one.

We are thrilled to share an inspiring milestone in our journey of community transformation. Through a powerful synergy between local governance—Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samitis, and Zila Parishads—and the social commitment of Dorf Ketal Chemicals India Ltd., a unique CSR initiative is successfully taking root across 300+ villages in Maharashtra.

This holistic model doesn't just protect our environment and secure local livelihoods; it creates a reliable, sustainable source of income for rural Gram Panchayats, paving the way for true self-reliance.

Empowering Gram Panchayats Through Mango Cultivation: Dorf Ketal Mango Cup 4.0 and Jungle Cup

Recently in Nagpur, we marked a monumental leap forward with the successful completion of the 'Dorf Ketal Mango Cup 4.0' & 'Forest Cup 4.0' (Miyawaki Plantation & Management Training Program).

With 80 Gram Panchayats in Nagpur district enthusiastically registering for mango and Miyawaki plantation this year, this initiative is rapidly scaling up to cover every village and Zila Parishad across Maharashtra for the greater good of people and the planet!

Rooted in Growth, Growing Together

There is something deeply rewarding about planting a seed and watching it transform into a lifeline.

As part of our commitment to Environmental & Social Responsibility, Dorf Ketal—in proud association with Navdrushti and the Grampanchayats of Awashi, Asagani, Ghanekhunt, and Kotwali—recently concluded a fruitful tree plantation and distribution drive for our local farming communities.

Thanks to the collaborative efforts and requests from these villages, we were able to distribute 2,000 premium-quality saplings—including Kesar Mango, Jackfruit, and Cashew—to 400 deserving farmers.

This initiative isn’t just about putting roots in the ground; it’s about nurturing a sustainable future.

Family-Like Care: These farmers are welcoming these saplings into their lives, promising to care for them like members of their own families.

Economic Empowerment: In the coming years, these trees will provide a steady, sustainable source of income for the households.
Environmental Impact: Together, we are actively increasing local green cover and contributing to vital carbon sequestration.

We are incredibly humbled by the overwhelming response from the community. Seeing the joy this has brought, many more local farmers have already reached out requesting saplings for their own lands.

It reinforces our belief that while our initiative may be small, its roots run deep. We cannot wait to see the sweetness of these fruits bring lasting smiles and prosperity to the faces of our farmers in the very near future.

Education is the foundation of a brighter tomorrow.

We are deeply humbled and honoured to share a significant milestone in our journey toward supporting sustainable educational development. On May 22nd, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Dr Conrad K Sangma ji, officially laid the foundation stone for the new building of the PASF Abong Noga College in Tura, Meghalaya.

This upcoming facility is envisioned to be a vibrant "temple of education," built to accommodate thousands of deserving students, acting as a launching pad for them to build meaningful careers rooted in strong, value-based education.

As part of our commitment to sustainable development through education—a core vision championed by our Founder & Vice Chairman, Shri. Subodh Menon ji—Dorf Ketal CSR has graciously committed a total contribution of Rs. 8 Crores toward this noble cause.

During the ceremony, a cheque of Rs. 5 Crores was presented to the Chairperson of the P. A. Sangma Foundation, Smt. Soradini K. Sangma ji, and other esteemed members of the Foundation. Our Head-CSR, Shri. Santosh Jagdhane, along with Shri. Vijaykumar Chakkoli from the Ira Gurukul Educational Trust, had the privilege of attending the event.

Reflecting on the profound impact of this initiative, Shri. Santosh Jagdhane shared a timeless reminder by Dr. Nelson Mandela during his address to the dignitaries and students: "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."

With construction already underway in full swing, we are hopeful that this institution will fully blossom within the next year or two. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the PASF Abong Noga College, Tura for accepting our humble contribution and allowing us to partner with them in this transformative educational journey.

'Water' in the name, but a parched throat... until now.

Imagine living in a village called Sag-Pani yet having to trek miles every day just for a single pot of it. For generations, the people of Sagpani in Jawahar Taluka, District-Palghar, lived this irony. Their pleas fell on deaf ears, and their struggle was overlooked.

The reality was heart-breaking:

Children unable to take a simple bath.
Students missing school to help find water.
Women spending their entire lives waiting for uncertain water tankers or trekking 5km daily.

But today, the story has changed. When Dorf Ketal Chemicals India Ltd., in association with Navdrushti NGO and the resilient people of Sagpani village, joined hands, a miracle happened.

This video is a testament to that transformation. The smiles on the faces of the children, the relief in the eyes of the mothers, and the joy of the senior citizens tell a story that words cannot. It reminds us that our lives evolved with water—every drop is connected to our existence.

From Tiny Plots to Mighty Forests: The Green Revolution of Maharashtra!

A CSR initiative of Dorf Ketal:

What happens when a community forgets its differences and unites for Mother Earth? The Dorf Ketal Jungle Cup 2.0 just showed us the answer!
On February 27, 2026, in the vibrant heart of Sangamner, we didn’t just host an award ceremony; we celebrated the birth of 155+ new forests across Maharashtra.

Through the innovative Miyawaki Method, villages are turning single plots of land into dense, biodiverse jungles with over 42 species of native trees in just 2–3 years.

Honoring Our Green Heroes
A massive congratulations to the Gram Panchayats who led the way:
* 1st Prize: Sonewadi (Sangamner) — Setting the gold standard!
* 2nd Prize: Lahit Khurd (Akole) — A testament to dedication.
* 3rd Prize (Shared): Kusur (Yeola) & Dongargaon (Washim) — United for nature.
* Special Recognition: To our consolation winners in Maldad, Nilwande, Sakur, Umarda, Rendale, and Visapur. Your effort is the seed of our future!

Wisdom from the Soil
The event was graced by Padma Shri awardee Shri Chaitram Pawar who is an acclaimed environmentalist; and the "Waterman of India," Rajendra Singh, who reminded us:

"Nature doesn't just give us oxygen; it brings peace. In Chambal, it wasn't weapons that brought change—it was water and greenery."

Our CSR Head, Santosh Jagdhane, shared a beautiful lesson from the trees themselves:

“Trees know only how to give. Even in their final moments, they pass nutrients to others through their roots. If humans could learn to coexist like a Miyawaki forest, the world would be transformed.”
