Curious to learn the skill of wheel throwing? Now's your chance! This weekend there's a 2-day class at Ilwaco Artworks - the perfect activity for a quick getaway trip to Southwestern WA!

In this all-levels class, through demonstration and explanation, we will focus on throwing and trimming cylinders. Day one will focus on throwing cylinder/cup forms and day two will focus on trimming, adding handles and investigating underglaze surface work.

The Pacific Pumpkin Patch opens in Ilwaco this weekend!

Celebrate fall every weekend in October from Noon–5 PM with family-friendly fun at the ranch. Enjoy games and activities, explore festive fall photo spots, and pick out the perfect pumpkin from thousands of pumpkins in a variety of shapes and sizes—sold by the pound!

There’s definitely something special about the coast during King Tides! These extra-high tides transform the shoreline around Ilwaco, creating dramatic waves and unforgettable views of the Pacific.

Make a weekend of it and come experience Ilwaco during King Tide season. Our bed and breakfast is booked out for the November & December occurrences, but we still have a few nights available during the January 2027 King Tides that start around the 20th.

When we're out fishing, we can watch the day progress in the best way possible 🌅

Wow it's really starting to feel like fall out there! We're heading into our last two weekends of the fishing season with chartered trips on The Salty Dog through our partners at Seabreeze. It's not quite last call yet, but ya know...gettin' closer each day....
