T. C. Almore Lodge No. 242 is a subordinate lodge of M. W. Stringer Grand Lodge of MS. F.&A.M. PHA M., Jurisdiction of Mississippi.

Almore Lodge #242 is a Prince Hall Affiliated Masonic lodge, operating under the auspices of the Most Worshipful Stringer Grand Lodge, F. & A. The lodge was founded on December 11, 1953, by Thomas Carl Almore. Since the lodge's inception, it has made strides to make good men better through faith, hope, and charity. Almore #242 is seated in Jackson, MS, within the 9th district, the largest district in the state of Mississippi. Our mission at Almore is to spread brotherly love through respect, love, and fellowship, giving relief to not just our fellow brethren but also our community by voluntary efforts and monetary value when we can. The Lodge conducts several fundraisers, such as car washes and raffles. With these funds, we have been able to present annual scholarships, donate Thanksgiving dinners to T's Personal Care Home, and provide school supplies to Poindexter Elementary School students. Almore #242 is under the leadership of Worshipful Master Anthony Veasey, Senior Warden Danny Washington, Jr., and Junior Warden Justin Ellis.

Today, we celebrate a truly remarkable milestone as our brother, Dr. John A. Peoples, Jr., celebrates his 100th birthday!

A respected educator, leader, mentor, and President Emeritus of Jackson State University, Dr. Peoples has dedicated a lifetime to serving others and making a difference in the lives of countless people.

Brother Peoples, your life is a testament to what it means to lead with purpose, serve with humility, and leave a lasting legacy. We are honored to call you our brother and grateful for the wisdom and example you continue to share with us.

From your brothers of T. C. Almore Lodge No. 242, we wish you a very Happy 100th Birthday! We hope your special day has been filled with love, joy, and the celebration of a life truly well lived.
